Both Stephen and I really enjoyed the architecture in the city – we were both constantly pointing and saying, “Look at that one.” I especially loved the pretty balconies and stained glass windows. Here’s a sampling of what we saw:

Agbar Tower

Former bullfighting arena
Your pictures are really nice ! Fine to find something related to barcelona that doesn’t mention Gaudi ! I love gaudi but barcelone has so much to offer ! When i was there last summer i slept in an apartment close to Las Arenas ( your last picture reminds me my trip). This apartment was great btw, http://www.barcelonapoint.com/en/apartments/ i think the wesite was this one ( not sure ) !!
Hasta luego !
Thanks Chris! I did do a post filled with Gaudi, because you kind of have to when you visit Barcelona, but I found some of the other architecture to be wonderful, as well, and wanted to highlight that. We could have walked around looking at buildings for a month, I’m sure!
Each piece of architecture is stunning! It’s amazing how glass, flooring, louvers, etc. can transform any building into something unique and beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
